Just a reminder for artists that the deadline for reserving Art Show space is May 14.
As always, we will try to accommodate artists after the deadline as space permits.

Hey – I’m thinking about going back to the Celebration Cinema near the old hotel on Thursday night for a showing of Infinity War, if anyone else is interested (probably preceded by dinner). I’d love company (and I have a minivan; up to 6 passenger spaces available).
Also – I am leaving the Chicago area (north suburbs) on Thursday morning and returning on Monday afternoon, for possible riders.

If anyone is going to the Solo: A Star Wars Story “opening night fan event” at Regal Lansing theater on Thursday, let us know if you need or can provide rides and we will post your contact info.
Same goes for members needing rides to or from the con, as well as room-mates wanted or looking to share rooms.
For those arriving early, Regal Lansing theater (in Lansing Mall) is having an “opening night fan event” on Thursday May 24 at 6pm for Solo: A Star Wars Story.

MW*C provides space, at no cost to all its members, to host parties or other events in the Party Suite.
The deadline for booking the Party Suite in advance was May 1st. The schedule for the reserved use of the Party Suite currently can be seen at the following downloadable PDF on Google Docs: http://bit.ly/2HYZtKm . Unbooked slots in the room can be reserved during the convention. The printed reservation form, which must be signed by the party’s host, will be available in the Convention Registration room during open hours.
